Succulents & sips
On July 25th, 2020 we hosted our Succulents & Sips Garden Party!
Each attendee got 3x cork fridge magnets, 1x cork box & 1x hanging bottle planter with their choice of succulents to fill inside.
We featured six different Evolve Wines for the tasting part of our event which you can see below.

Aroma:
Fruit (blackberry, plum) with pleasant toasty aromas and savoury floral notes.
TASTE:
Full bodied with blackberry jam, blueberry, and gentle toasted oak.
EAT:
A gooey, soft cheese or something off the Q with a peppery rub = a blissful pairing

cAB mERLOT
Aroma:
A spicy nose of black cherry and cassis.
TASTE:
Soft tannins, layers of complexity, with mouth-filling flavours of plum, cherry, and wild red berry from start to finish.
EAT:
Pairs well with your cheese course; or, think roasted flavours like tomato, duck, beef, or homemade pizza.

TASTE:
Notes of ripe peach and rich berry fruit.
EAT:
Chicken Schnitzel, anything fried and fat.Creamy Risotto. Chocolate. Cheese and BBQ.

Aroma:
Lime and tropical fruit with nectarine.
TASTE:
Bright, lively citrus and summer fruit flavours of melon, nectarine, and pear.
EAT:
Okanagan goat cheese at your picnic, or enjoy on its own on the patio with a good book.

Aroma:
Lychee, hints of pink grapefruit zest, and a touch of rose petal.
TASTE:
Bursts with rich, exotic flavours and ripe melon to match a crisp acidity and slightly off-dry finish.
EAT:
Pairs well with foods of the world, such as Middle Eastern and Moroccan cuisine - and a good match for dried fruit, nuts, and spicy roasted meats.

Élan EFFERVESCENCE
TASTE:
This wine is soft in the mouth with bready notes and a hint of sweetness.
EAT:
Triple cream (Brie-style) cheese or sweet bread and mascarpone cheese. Buttercream sauce or even buttered popcorn. Shrimp and shellfish, smoked salmon, caviar, fried calamari, and oysters. Salami, veggies, stuffed mushrooms, egg dishes, foie gras. Or add to orange juice, it goes with everything.
